The WAP 2.0 test suite has been aligned to the technical specifications as specified on the WAP Forum web site <a href="http://www.wapforum.org/what/technical.htm">http://www.wapforum.org/what/technical.htm</a>.

This is the first release of the WAP2.0 Application layer, and Protocol layer tests.  The following describes the tests within this test suite.

<b>WML2</b>
<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;This is the first release of these tests and are considered a beta release.
</p>
<p>
<b>WAE2 - for WML2</b>
<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;These tests are designed for WAP2 devices that support WML2 specification.  This is the first release of these tests and are considered a beta release.
</p>
<p>
<b>WAE2 - for WML1 + XHTML</b>
<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;These tests are designed for WAP2 devices that do not support the WML2 specification, but rather the WML1 specification and the XHTML Mobile Profile specification.  This is the first release of these tests and are considered a beta release.

<b>WCSS Extensions</b>
<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;This is the first release of these tests and, due to a lack of test devices,  are considered an alpha release.  They include ONLY the WCSS Extensions of the WCSS specification.

<b>WML</b>
<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;These tests are derived from the June 2000 specification, and are considered a beta release

<b>WMLScript</b>
<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;These tests are derived from the June 2000 specification, and are considered a beta release

<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;These tests are derived from the June 2000 specification, and are considered a beta release

<b>WMLScript Crypto Libraries</b>
<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;These tests are derived from the June 2000 specification, and are considered a beta release

<b>WAP Caching Model</b>
<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;These tests are derived from the June 2000 specification, and are considered a beta release
</p>

In future releases there will be a list of any changes that have been applied since this release of the test suite.
